we believe in a new worldwide cinema. a cinema able to manage with a mature and sensitive audience, which brings ideas mixed with emotions.

our goal is to create independent movies for worldwide audience, offering a different vision of cinema. no matters the genre, we are looking for strong ideas and untamed visions.

A_NIMA has been founded by Italian director Federico Gatti in 2021, together with executive producer Valerio Ambrogi. during these years, we developed short movies, features and documentaries, and our projects led us to collaborate with several institutions (South Tyrol region, IMAIE, TPFC) and other production companies for co-productions.​​ our first feature, un polpo (starring the Hungarian actress Fruzsina Nagy), produced with the support of Torino Piemonte Film Commission, is actually completed and it will be released in 2025 for Italian market.
